Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Salida, Colorado is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and deliver routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with state regulations and Life Care standards.

This full-time role involves helping patients with bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting and other activities, while working with an interdisciplinary team to ensure compassionate, quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in the applicable State with an active license.
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation; CPR must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients.
• Assist with bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the CNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your daily responsibilities will be to deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed. Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
