Royalton Manor in Saint Joseph, MI is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to care for residents under the supervision of nurses. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vitals, support mobility, and maintain a safe, comfortable environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be a CNA in good standing or graduate of state-approved CNA program and pass state competency exam within 120 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and feeding.
• Measure and record vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Respond to call lights and report observations to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Maintain accurate documentation per facility procedures.

The Certified Nursing Assistant cares for residents under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical/vocational nurse. This role assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensures a safe and comfortable environment, and supports licensed nursing staff in delivering individualized care in accordance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.

Responsibilities:

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Graduate/GED

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the certification board or is a graduate of a state approved nursing assistant training program and passed a state approved competency examination (written and skills) within120 daysof employment; nameentered intostate nurse aide registry.
