Job Description:

The Vistas at Bettendorf is looking for qualified Certified Nursing Assistants for 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm) and 2nd Shift (2:00pm-10:30pm). Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available. Responsibilities:

• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, and respiration rate.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Certification from the State of Iowa as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Document changes in residents’ functional status, personal needs, and appointments.
• Encourage socialization among residents and promote activities, assisting as needed.
• Maintain a safe, home-like, and pleasant environment for residents.
• Keep patient environments clean and organized, including changing bed linens and tidying rooms.
• Observe and report any changes in patient condition or behavior to nursing staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility information.
• Accurately and promptly document patient care activities.
• Practice safety when working with equipment, chemicals, tools, and utensils.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma/GED; Entry level (0-2 years experience).
