Job summary

Fairpark Health and Rehabilitation in Tennessee is currently hiring compassionate CNAs to join a caring, team-focused environment.

Attend to residents' needs, record vital signs, assist with mobility, and report changes to the nursing staff. Must hold a current state CNA certification and be dependable.

We offer a sign-on bonus of $5,000 for full-time new hires, competitive pay, health/dental/vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• CNA with 1+ year experience in long-term care preferred.
• Must hold and maintain current state CNA certification.
• Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' needs: bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Record vital signs, assist with lifting and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize changes in resident conditions and report to nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Assist the nurse with duties as directed.
• Report abnormal changes to nursing staff.

CNA Responsibilities:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.

• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs, lifting, moving, and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.

• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.

• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to the nursing staff.

• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.

• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA

• Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred.
