Job summary

University City Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join a compassionate care team. This part-time role covers 7a-3p shifts and offers daily pay, reflecting our commitment to timely compensation for our staff.

You'll provide essential resident care under licensed supervision, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment that enhances dignity and quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA license in the state of employment.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under licensed staff supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Support mobility, linen changes, and comfort for residents.
• Observe changes in condition and report promptly to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Support nursing staff to deliver high-quality, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being for all residents.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of employment.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
