The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides assistance to professional nursing staff in caring for residents/patients through routine direct and indirect care activities, following established policies and procedures. They maintain resident/patient rights, privacy, and confidentiality, promote acceptance of treatment goals, and respond promptly to residents'/patients' needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Current Pennsylvania State Nurse Aide Certification; must be listed on the state nurse aide registry and free of allegations
