Aviata Health Group in Palm Bay, FL seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care to residents in our health and rehabilitation center. Your primary duties include assisting with daily living activities, hygiene, and mobility while upholding dignity and safety.

Responsibilities also include medication reminders, observing changes in condition, and supporting dining and companionship tasks in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA license.
• Ability to read and communicate at a level sufficient for essential job duties.

Responsibilities

• Caring for personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Aiding with daily tasks such as laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
• Medication reminders.
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ condition and status.
• Conducting rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.
• Assisting in dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and cleaning up.
• Providing companionship and conversation.
• Other duties as assigned.
