Job summary

Avante at Orlando is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide direct care under licensed supervision and support residents’ physical, social and psychological well-being. The role requires CNA certification, English literacy and a caring attitude toward the elderly.

We offer full- and part-time positions with 3p-11p and 11p-7a shifts, plus daily pay options. Avante provides a supportive team environment, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and meet certification requirements.
• Must be 18 years of age and able to read/write and follow commands in English.
• Previous CNA training or experience preferred.

• Eligible for clearance through state abuse registry and law enforcement.

Qualifications:

• Must Be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state certification requirements or training to satisfactory complete the requirements or in training to satisfactory complete the requirements to become a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Must be 18 years of age
• Completion of high school or GED equivalent or otherwise show the ability to read and write and follow oral commands in English
• Previous experience or completion of an appropriate training course
• Positive attitude toward elderly
• Must be eligible for clearance through abuse registry and Department of Law enforcement.

Background Screening Requirement:

This position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
