Job summary

Centers Health Care’s Far Rockaway Center in New York is hiring Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) in Far Rockaway, NY. The position includes a daily pay option through a trusted provider to access wages faster.

The CNA will observe and assist residents, report health issues, and help with personal care, meals, hygiene, and mobility while upholding resident dignity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Must be able to work every other weekend.
• Successful completion of a CNA program.
• Current CNA State Certification.
• Must be in good standing with State Registry.

• Observing Residents

• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data
