Job summary

Hope Center in The Bronx, NY seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. The role focuses on resident observation, personal care, and supporting nursing staff to deliver quality care in a compassionate environment.

Qualified candidates have completed a CNA program, hold current state certification, and remain in good standing. The shift includes 4 PM - 12 PM, and the facility offers Daily Pay through a trusted provider.

Responsibilities

• Observe Residents
• Report health issues to the supervising nurse
• Provide personal hygiene care for residents (bed bath, shaving, etc.)
• Set up meal trays and document food/fluid intake
• Feed residents and provide nutritional supplements
• Make beds and keep residents' spaces clean and tidy
• Transport residents within the facility
• Turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data

Shifts included:

4 PM - 12 PM

DUTIES:

• Observing Residents
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident's personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents' space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work as a team member
• Successful completion of a CNA program
• Current CNA State Certification
• Must be in good standing with State Registry
