Job summary

Hallmark Care Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our caring team for 2nd shift part-time and PRN on-call roles. The CNA will provide daily living assistance, monitor residents' conditions, and maintain a safe environment under the supervision of the nursing staff.

The ideal candidate will hold an Iowa CNA certificate, be able to perform ADLs, and deliver compassionate, high-quality resident care. Hallmark Care Center is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Iowa CNA certificate or completion from an IA-credentialed CNA program.
• Ability to perform Activities of Daily Living and monitor changes in condition.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to maintain comfort and safety.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to the care team.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow care plans.
• Support resident dignity and independence through compassionate care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of Iowa Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, Prior Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA experience is preferable.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Hallmark Care Center by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
