Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our interdisciplinary team and provide routine daily nursing care to patients on our unit.

You will assist with bathing, feeding, grooming and toileting, deliver direct patient care, and collaborate with nurses and therapists to support each patient’s well-being. A State CNA license and CPR certification are required or obtained during orientation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Current valid CNA license in the applicable state.
• CPR certification required or obtained during orientation.
• Minimum 1 year of skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.).
• Deliver direct care to assigned patients in accordance with laws and Life Care standards.

Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
