Job summary

Heritage Senior Living in Mechanicsville, VA seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate daily living assistance to residents. You will interact with residents to enhance quality of life and report needs to nursing staff. Certification training is offered by the organization.

The role emphasizes a positive work environment, teamwork, and commitment to dignity and respect for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance to residents with activities of daily living based on individual resident needs.
• Interacting daily with residents in an effort to improve resident quality of life.
• Report resident needs and concerns to a licensed nurse.
