Job summary

Global Dynamics LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care to Veterans in inpatient and long-term care settings under supervision of an RN or LPN. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring patient conditions, documenting care, and supporting a safe, high-quality healthcare environment.

Requirements include a current CNA certification, BLS, and VA credentialing readiness.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted CNA certification.
• Minimum one year of CNA experience within the last three years.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• U.S. citizen or authorized to work as required by the VA.
• Ability to successfully complete VA credentialing, background investigations, fingerprinting, orientation, and required training before providing patient care.
• Ability to work 8- to 12-hour shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, feeding, and linen changes.
• Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, lifting, repositioning, and mobility.
• Obtain and document vital signs, height, weight, intake/output, oxygen saturation, and specimen collection as directed.
• Observe patients, report changes in physical or mental condition, and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Accurately document care provided in accordance with VA policies and electronic medical record requirements.
• Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, infection control, and safety standards.
• Perform other patient care duties as assigned within the CNA scope of practice.

Physical Requirements

The position requires repetitive motion, such as standing, walking, sitting and bending. Light lifting, up to 20 pounds, may be required.
