Job summary

Avantara Long Grove is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time PM and NOC shifts at our long-term care facility in Long Grove, IL. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor wellbeing, and maintain a safe environment while delivering compassionate care.

Applicants should hold an Illinois CNA certificate; prior CNA experience is preferable. Our team supports growth and ongoing training in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Illinois CNA certificate or completion from an Illinois-accredited CNA training program.
• Prior CNA experience is preferable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living.
• Observe resident condition and report changes to the clinical team.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment to prevent accidents.
• Deliver compassionate, person-centered care and communicate effectively with residents and families.

As a CNA you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Long Grove by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

• As a minimum, an unencumbered State ofIllinoisCNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State ofIllinoisAccredited CNA training course.

• Prior CNA experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
