Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification required.
• State-approved CNA training program completion and examination.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures safety and wellbeing of residents.
• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming per Care Plan.
• Ensures residents are out of bed according to the Care Plan.
• Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers and staff in a supportive, calm manner.
• Acts under the direction of the Charge Nurse and as an active member of the inter-disciplinary team.
• Other duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.
• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques for caring for residents with needs including therapeutic, neuro and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care.

Shifts Available:

• Full Time 6:00 AM- 6:30 PM

• Full Time 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

• PRN

• Other shifts may be available upon discussion

Rate Range: $18.00 - $23.00 based on experience

CNA Job details/Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with the following needs: therapeutic, neuro and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care, if applicable.

• Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of the residents is maintained.

• Acts appropriately under the direction of the Charge Nurse and acts as an active member of the inter-disciplinary team.

• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming, in accordance with the established Care Plan.

• Ensures that all residents are out of bed according to the established Care Plan.

• Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers, and clinical and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental, supportive, and calm manner.

• Additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.

CNA Qualifications:

• A graduate of an accredited high school or GED is preferred.

• Must be 18 years and older

• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification; having successfully completed a State approved training program and necessary examination.

• Must provide documentation of certification upon application for the position.
