Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Monroe County Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our resident-centered team in Kentucky. CNAs provide direct resident care under supervision and support daily living activities in a compassionate atmosphere.

You will monitor vitals, assist with mobility, manage routine tasks, and help maintain safety and dignity for residents, following facility policies and care plans.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

How you Will make a difference
