Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
• Take and accurately record vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other measurements as directed.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing team.
• Provide compassionate and respectful care while maintaining resident dignity and privacy.
• Assist with restorative nursing programs and encourage resident independence.
• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Complete accurate documentation according to facility policies and procedures.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures, HIPAA requirements, and facility safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, CNAs, and other healthcare team members.
• Build positive relationships with residents through dependable, compassionate, and person-centered care.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and the overall goals of the nursing care team.

CNA Schedule

This full-time CNA position follows a consistent 14-day rotating schedule:

Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

Enjoy a predictable schedule with every other weekend as a 3-day weekend, no more than three consecutive workdays, and 7 days off every 14 days.

What You'll Do as a CNA

As a Certified Nursing Assistant in skilled nursing and long-term care, you will provide compassionate, hands-on resident care while working closely with residents, families, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team.

Your responsibilities will include:
