Job summary

Hiawatha Care Center is actively hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide compassionate, hands‑on care that promotes resident comfort, dignity, and independence. The CNA will help residents with daily living activities while collaborating with the nursing team to deliver high-quality care.

The role offers full-time or part-time day, evening, and night shifts (6AM–2PM, 2PM–10PM, 10PM–6AM) with every other weekend required.

Qualifications

• Current state CNA certification.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team.
• Document resident care accurately and timely.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will help create a safe, welcoming environment where residents receive the highest quality of care.

What We Offer

Compensation:

$20 - $22 per hour

Additional Pay

• Eligible for an additional $5 per hour worked on Saturday and Sunday (Weekend Bonus)
