Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Hartford Rehab & Wellness Center in Hartford, KY seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed supervision.

Join a 110-bed facility with a comprehensive benefits package, 8-hour shifts with rotating weekends, and opportunities to grow within a family-based organization.

You will support activities of daily living, document vital signs, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment in line with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state in which the facility operates.
• Ability to work with residents, families and nursing staff with empathy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct resident care duties under licensed nursing supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living within the scope of practice defined by state regulations.
• Change bed linens and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and techniques.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and food consumption as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents; monitor for safety and comfort.
• Support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards in assigned areas.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff as requested.
• Participate in special projects and duties as assigned.

How You Will Make a Difference

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

What You Need To Make a Difference

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.
