Job summary

Woodlands Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care to our senior residents. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, respond to calls, and document changes in resident status. Qualifications

• Must possess active and in good standing CNA certification from the State of Maine CNA Registry or can show proof of prior CNA certification.
• Must provide proof of immunization/immunity to MMR, Varicella and Influenza.
• Strong command of the English language with the ability to follow oral and written instructions with precision.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living (phone, light housekeeping, meal prep/service).
• Accurately measure blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration and weight as assigned.
• Respond to resident call lights promptly.
• Observe, record and report changes in resident status and abnormal signs to the supervisor or practitioner.
• Perform scheduled resident activities as assigned.
• Accurately document care provisions or changes in resident statuses.

What you will do as a Certified Nursing Assistant:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, etc.)


• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (using telephone, light housekeeping, meal preparation/service, etc.)


• Accurately measure residents blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration and weight as assigned or indicated


• Respond to resident call lights promptly


• Observe, record and report any changes in resident status and abnormal signs and symptoms to the person in charge or their duly authorized practitioner


• Perform scheduled resident activities as assigned


• Accurately document care provisions or changes in resident statuses.
