Responsibilities

Support mobility, transfers, and proper positioning for safety and comfort.
Take, record, and report vital signs.
Observe and report changes to licensed nursing staff.
Provide basic nursing care under supervision.
Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary environment.
Document care per facility policies and infection control protocols.
Provide emotional support and companionship.
Assist with meals and ensure nutrition and hydration.
Communicate effectively with nurses and care team.

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) Responsibilities:

· Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
· Support residents with mobility, transfers, and proper positioning to ensure safety and comfort
· Take, record, and report vital signs (e.g., temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
· Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or behavioral condition to licensed nursing staff
· Provide basic nursing care under the direction of licensed nurses
· Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times
· Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment
· Document care provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures
· Follow infection control and safety protocols consistently
· Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
· Assist with meal service and ensure residents receive proper nutrition and hydration
· Communicate effectively with nurses and the care team to support coordinated resident care
