Job summary

Palatka Center for Rehabilitation & Healing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to care for residents and support rehab services. You will assist with daily living activities, observe resident rights, and coordinate with nursing staff to ensure quality care.

We require an active Florida CNA license, English proficiency, and AHCA background screening. The role contributes to a supportive, patient-centered environment in Palatka, FL.

Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA license in the state of practice (Florida) is required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Florida AHCA background screening clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Care for multiple residents in the facility with attention to Resident Rights.

Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) Main Duties and Critical Tasks:

• Care for multiple residents in the facility. Observe Resident Rights.
• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist nurse with admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
• Assist nurse in giving treatments and examining residents.
• Assist with restorative and rehab care with proper instruction and supervision.
• Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
• Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) Required Education and Experience:
• Current and validCertified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) license in the state of practice and employment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to work harmoniously with other personnel.
