The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing caring and personalized assistance for residents living in our community.

Required Experience for CNA:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Healthcare, Geriatrics or experience working with the elderly population preferred.
• Previous experience as a nursing aide preferred.
• Must be a licensed, Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.

Accountabilities for CNA:

• Professional in attitude, demeanor and dress.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Subject to frequent interruptions and involved with residents and staff under all conditions.
• Handle potentially upset residents, family members, visitors, and staff professionally.
• Work varied hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Respond to callbacks during emergencies.
• Maintain continuous physical movement.

Responsibilities for CNA:

• Lead and provide 1440 care.
• Review Resident Care Plans at start of shift.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and mobility of residents.
• Ensure residents' dignity, privacy, and comfort.
• Document care provided accurately in CareTracker.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures.
• Report any abnormalities or incidents immediately.
• Assist in admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

General Working Conditions:

This position requires standing for long periods, effective communication, and physical activities such as lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, reaching, and climbing. The environment is moderate noise, with occasional travel to different locations.
