Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CNA certification in this state or completion of approved nurse aide training program.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience preferred, especially in long-term care or geriatric settings.
• Excellent customer service, professionalism, and communication skills.
• Adaptability to change and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies, procedures, and work schedules.
• Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Support residents with personal care needs with dignity.
• Safely lift, turn, position, and transport residents using proper techniques.
• Record data from restorative and rehabilitative exercises as needed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and maintain safety.
• Use PPE and tools like gait belts and mechanical lifts when required.
