Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a certified nursing assistant (CNA) to join our patient care team. You will perform routine daily nursing care and support patients with activities of daily living under the supervision of licensed staff.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA program completion, and an active state license; CPR is required. Prior skilled nursing experience is preferred and a strong commitment to compassionate patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in the applicable state.
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients.
• Deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.).
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates.

Education

Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
