Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant to join our care team. You will provide direct patient care, including bathing, feeding and grooming, under the supervision of licensed staff.

Responsibilities include collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, maintaining patient comfort and safety, and following Life Care standards and regulations. A CNA license and CPR are required or obtained during orientation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of a state-approved CNA program and active CNA license.
• CPR certification required or obtained during orientation.
• One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients as directed.
• Assist with bathing, feeding, grooming and toileting tasks.
• Deliver care in accordance with laws, Life Care standards, and care plans.

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the CNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
