Eskridge Care Center in Eskridge, KS is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate clinical team. This 12-hour shift position offers 3-day weekends every other weekend and overtime opportunities. Earns a competitive hourly wage with a $250 Sign on bonus and referral bonus.

Qualifications

• Completed a state approved Nurse Aide Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents and assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, mobility).
• Record vital signs and weight and conduct ROM as needed.
• Observe and report changes in condition, attitude, appetite, and behavior; maintain confidentiality.
• Build relationships with residents, their families, visitors and colleagues and provide excellent customer service.

• This rehabilitation nursing position works 12 hour shifts.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you play a vital role in our community. Without you, we would not be able to fulfill our purpose! You provide total care for our residents, starting with carefully assisting with providing activities of daily living (ADLs) to residents (including washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care and catheter care). You perform care as defined by resident plan of care/CNA assignment card. You visit with residents and reposition as required.

With a close eye for detail, you record temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight. You also conduct range of motion as needed.

You take great care to observe and report any change in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior that you find when caring for your residents. You live up to the trust of those in your care by maintaining confidentiality and following Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) requirements as well as upholding our facility policies and procedures. Your warm and friendly demeanor makes it easy for you to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and your colleagues. Qualifications For a Certified Nursing Assistant (cna)
