Job summary

Emmetsburg Care Center is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to join our caring team in Emmetsburg, IA. We offer 6a-2p and 2p-10p shifts, full-time and part-time options, plus a weekend incentive of $3/hr. PRN on-call opportunities are also available.

You will assist residents with daily living activities and coordinate with the clinical team to ensure high-quality care. We provide a robust benefits package including medical, vision, dental, 401K with match, life insurance, sick and vacation

Qualifications

• Iowa CNA certification is required and must be in good standing.
• Unencumbered CNA license or certificate to practice in Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Provide Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to residents.
• Observe residents' conditions and report changes.
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to care plans.
• Support resident education and wellbeing while delivering compassionate care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of Iowa Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, Prior Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA experience is preferable.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA. you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Emmetsburg Care Center by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
