Visiting Angels Edmond is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors in the Oklahoma City metro area, including Edmond. The role includes mobility assistance, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship with chances to pursue dementia/alzheimer’s care training.

Ideal candidates have a genuine service mindset, strong communication, reliability and physical endurance to support daily activities and safety.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong ethics and compassionate demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle emergencies and provide first aid knowledge.
• Physical endurance for mobility assistance and daily tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with medication reminders as prescribed.
• Support ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
• Help with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist with meal planning and preparation with client input.
• Shop for groceries or accompany clients to shop.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
• Provide companionship and report incidents promptly.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
