Job summary

Brookdale in Edmond, OK is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate daily living support to residents. You’ll work with a team to assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents, and report changes per community policy.

The role requires CNA certification and ongoing certification maintenance; Brookdale offers a full benefits package, competitive pay, and opportunities for advancement across care roles including QMAP and Home Care Aide positions.

Qualifications

• State CNA certification required.
• Experience in geriatric care preferred.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Strong communication with residents and families.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities

• Our Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant-STNA in Ohio) work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care, and give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Nursing assistants check in with residents, assist with dining and personal care needs, and perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (showers, bathroom assistance, dressing/grooming)
• Successful completion of State CNA/STNA course is required. Must maintain certification.
