We are hiring full-time and part-time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our dynamic care team at Waterview Villa Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in East Providence!

Shift is 7a-3p including every other weekend. Weekly pay!

The primary responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) include providing routine daily nursing care to residents according to established procedures and as directed by licensed staff nurses.

Experience & Education:
  • Must be a registered certified nurse’s aide according to state laws.
  • CPR certification is preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in long-term care is preferred but not necessary.
  • New graduates are welcome!
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of residents.
  • Participate in planning and following resident care plans.
  • Complete assignments effectively and promptly.
  • Observe and report changes in resident conditions.
  • Accurately document care provided.
  • Assist residents with personal grooming.
  • Answer call lights promptly and ensure they are within reach.
  • Keep care areas clean and orderly.
  • Maintain proper resident identification.
  • Follow safety techniques per training and orientation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Specific Requirements:
  • Knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
  • Effective communication skills with staff, residents, families, and others.
  • Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
  • Willingness to learn and incorporate new methods.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in emergency situations.
