Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for contract - full time work in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. The CNA provides direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision and supports basic activities to promote comfort and well-being of patients.

Requirements include nursing assistant certification, CPR if applicable, one year of experience preferred, and ability to meet health and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions.
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• The CNA performs direct patient care under the supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional.
• The CNA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services this supports the personal needs and comforts of patients.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs directpatient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensedmedical professional.

The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient careactivities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for thepersonal needs and comforts of patients.
