Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Corpus Christi, TX. The CNA will provide routine daily nursing care to patients and assist with activities of daily living under Life Care standards.

Qualifications include a state-approved CNA program, active CNA license, CPR certification, and preferred 1 year skilled nursing experience. Sign-on bonus of $2,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Current CNA license in the applicable state.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation; must remain current.
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting.
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with patients, families, and staff.

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the CNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your daily responsibilities will be to deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed. Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
