Responsibilities

1. Assist residents with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting in the nursing home.
2. Help residents with grooming, self-care, and quality of life activities.
3. Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed.
4. Chart accurately and maintain records in a timely manner.
5. Create and maintain a warm, welcoming environment in the nursing home.

Qualifications

1. Current, valid nursing assistant certification in Illinois.
2. No abuse records.
3. Ability to read, write, spell, and understand both written and oral directions.
4. Good communication skills and ability to work well with residents and staff.
5. English language proficiency in understandable speech.

Additional Requirements

1. Deemed nurse aide certification in Illinois.
2. No abuse convictions.
3. Prompt and regular attendance.
4. At least 1 year of CNA work experience.
5. Evening shift only (2:00 pm - 10:00 pm).

Compensation

Hourly wage: $15 - $21.50

Bonus paid at 90 and 180 days of employment.
