Brookdale Senior Living is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in Colorado Springs. Our team members have opportunities to advance into roles such as Medication Technicians (QMAP), Home Care Aides and Nurses, with a focus on delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with an active certification.
• Prior elderly care experience preferred.
• Ability to perform vital signs, personal care, and daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care to residents and give status updates at shift changes.
• Assist with dining, bathing, dressing and grooming, and daily living activities.
• Conduct vital sign checks and basic clinical procedures per community policy.
• Maintain certification as a State CNA/STNA where applicable.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities

• Our Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant-STNA in Ohio) work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care, and give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Nursing assistants check in with residents, assist with dining and personal care needs, and perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (showers, bathroom assistance, dressing/grooming)
• Successful completion of State CNA/STNA course is required. Must maintain certification.
