Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents as part of an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include direct patient care such as bathing, feeding, grooming and toileting, conducted under Life Care standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA program graduation, active state CNA license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the applicable state and maintain active status.
• One year of skilled nursing experience is preferred.
• CPR certification required at hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with laws and Life Care standards.
• Perform direct care tasks (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
• Maintain professional relationships with all staff and vendors.

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the CNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
