Park Avenue Extended Care in Long Beach, NY seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring team. The role focuses on providing personalized daily living assistance, maintaining safety, and enriching residents’ quality of life in a home-like setting.

You will work closely with nurses and staff across shifts to ensure compassionate, respectful care and accurate documentation, promoting a clean, welcoming environment for all residents and families.

Your Role as a CNA:
You’ll play an essential part in enhancing residents’ comfort, safety, and quality of life by:

• Providing Personalized Care: Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meals while respecting each resident’s dignity.

• Promoting Comfort & Safety: Monitoring residents’ physical and emotional well-being and responding to changes with care and attentiveness.

• Fostering Connections: Building meaningful relationships with residents and families, creating trust and a true sense of belonging.

• Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensuring residents’ rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and sanitary.

• Accurate Documentation: Recording and reporting changes in residents’ conditions and care plans to support effective teamwork.

• Collaborating with the Team: Working alongside nurses and healthcare staff to deliver individualized, holistic care.

• Enhancing Quality of Life: Engaging residents in activities that support physical, emotional, and social well-being.
