Southwest Montana Veteran's Home in Butte, MT is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the long-term care unit. You will provide comprehensive CNA care, assist residents with daily activities, report observations to the nursing supervisor, and help with transfers or discharge preparation.

Required Montana CNA license and BLS from AHA; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, FSA/HSA, PTO, holidays, daily pay, and Eduro discount program.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) care for residents
• Reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Answering patients’ call lights and requests
• Assisting patients with eating, dressing, and bathing
• Preparing patients for transfers or discharge
• Comply to all regulatory protocols and policies related to infection control and nursing care
• Observance of patient diet restrictions as prescribed by the physician
• Assist in the provision of emergency care
