Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in Kansas. The CNA will provide direct patient care such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting while supporting a multidisciplinary team. Weekend night differential applies to hours 6:00pm–6:00am.

Ideal candidates have a state-approved CNA program, current CNA license, CPR certification, and 1 year of skilled nursing experience preferred. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program and active CNA license.
• CPR certification preferred and must be current.
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients.
• Assist with bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living.

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the CNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your daily responsibilities will be to deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed. Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
