Job summary

JFS at Home is seeking compassionate CNAs to provide one-on-one care in clients’ homes across Boca Raton and surrounding communities. You will promote independence, dignity, and safety while delivering high-quality private-duty care in a home setting.

Requirements include a Florida CNA license, at least one year of relevant experience, CEUs, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Valid driver's license and reliable transport are needed.

Qualifications

• Current Florida CNA License in good standing
• Minimum one year of experience in home care, hospital, assisted living, or healthcare setting
• Current CEUs as required by the State of Florida
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Compassionate, patient, professional, and dependable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a client’s home
• Ability to lift, transfer, or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation
• Current automobile insurance that includes Bodily Injury Liability coverage
• Experience with Hoyer lifts and safe transfer techniques preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and short shifts when needed

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes
• Assist with personal care, bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Support mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation
• Assist with medication reminders as allowed by policy
• accompany clients to medical appointments and errands
• Plan and prepare meals while monitoring nutritional needs
• Perform safe transfers using gait belts, wheelchairs, or lifts
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement
• Complete light housekeeping and laundry related to client care
• Observe and report changes in client condition or environment
• Respond promptly to client needs and emergencies
• Document care provided and client activities
• Follow agency policies, care plans, and safety procedures
• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement

What You’ll Do
