Job summary

Yamato Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate team. You will provide direct resident care, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida CNA license, brings patience, tact, and enthusiasm, and has prior long-term care experience. We offer full-time shifts and a collaborative team atmosphere.

Qualifications

Patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm are required.
CNA license valid in Florida is mandatory.
Minimum of 2 years in long-term care or related setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as main caregiver for residents, assisting with activities of daily living.
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding and mobility.
Monitor weight, vitals, and input/output to maintain patient stability.
Communicate observations of changes in resident status to nursing staff.

Key Duties

Serve a vital role on our nursing team by acting as our residents' main caregiver, providing support for all activities of daily living.
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility needs.
Maintain patient stability by monitoring weight, vitals, and input/output.
Communicate any observations of changes in a resident’s status to the nursing team.
Assist nurses and other medical staff with procedures and treatments as needed.
Ensure resident rooms and living areas are clean, comfortable, and safe.
Support residents’ emotional well-being by providing companionship and social interaction.
Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in resident condition.
Perform other job-related duties as required.

Qualifications

Valid CNA license in the state of Florida.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related setting preferred.
Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, with the ability to manage residents based on maturity level and factuality.
