Qualifications

• Active CNA certification and completion of a CNA program
• Minimum 1 year of Sub-Acute experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including boosters
• Able to read, write and speak English
• Good physical health to lift/move patients
• Compassionate care toward residents and families

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for residents under the supervision of a licensed and/or registered nurse
• Assist with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, recreation, and outings
• Keep the unit running smoothly with strong organizational skills
• Answer call lights to determine and meet resident needs
• Use proper body mechanics when necessary
• Perform and document rounds of patients and report changes
• Provide companionship and excellent care to patients
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment
• Prioritize patient/resident activities based on current care needs
• Assist with transfers and transportation to dining area for meals and activities
• Be punctual and professional
• Other duties as assigned

• Compassion towards residents and their families

Primary Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities

• Providing personal care for the residents under the supervision of a licensed and/or registered nurse
• Such care includes assistance with the activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, recreational activities, and outings
• Organizational skills are required to keep the unit running smoothly
• Answer call lights to determine and meet resident needs
• Use proper body mechanics when necessary
• Perform and document rounds of patients and report any changes
• Provide companionship and excellent care to patients
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment
• Prioritizes patient/resident activities based on current care needs
• Proper lifting and transitioning residents from wheelchair to bed, bed to chair, etc.
• Transporting residents to dining area for meals and activities
• Be punctual and professional
• Other duties as assigned

Pay Scale: $23 (starting pay)

Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
