Job summary

Washington Center is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in Argyle, NY. We offer a $7,500 sign-on bonus and a base rate of $20.25-$22.25 with a $0.50 shift differential for evenings, nights, and weekends. All shifts are available for full-time or part-time.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a CNA program and hold current CNA certification.
• In good standing with the state registry is required.

Responsibilities

• Observe residents and report health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily care needs.
• Set up meal trays and document food and fluid intake.
• Feed residents and provide nutritional supplements as directed.
• Make beds and keep residents' spaces clean and tidy.
• Transport residents within the facility as needed.
• Turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data.

DUTIES

• Observing Residents
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work as a team member
• Successful completion of a CNA program
• Current CNA State Certification
• Must be in good standing with State Registry
