Role Overview

we seek a caring and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The CNA will be vital in delivering hands-on care to our senior clients, providing support with daily activities, and ensuring their comfort and dignity. This position is ideal for a compassionate individual with a strong desire to impact seniors' lives positively.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist seniors with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Provide mobility assistance to patients, including helping them move in and out of beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
• Offer emotional support and companionship, helping to create a safe and welcoming environment for seniors.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring that dietary needs and preferences are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment by changing linens, sanitizing equipment, and keeping rooms tidy.
• Communicate any changes in a patient's condition to the nursing patient with prompt and appropriate care.
• Support patients with exercises and physical activities as outlined in their care plans.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties related to patient care.
• Comply with all safety and health regulations, including infection control protocols.
• Participate in continuing education and training to stay updated on best practices in elderly care.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of California.
• Experience as a CNA, particularly in working with elderly patients, is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, focusing on empathy and patient care.
• Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals.
• Physical capability to assist with lifting, transferring, and supporting patients.
• Familiarity with basic medical procedures and patient care standards.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
