Job summary

Ennoble Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) for the Dayton, OH region. This part-time role involves visiting patients at home to provide ongoing care, support daily living activities, and coordinate with Hospice staff.

Starting pay is $19.75/hour. Benefits, scheduling options, and a supportive team environment are available. Candidates must meet state training requirements and have CNA/CHHA credentials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old.
• Meets state training requirements.
• At least 75 hours of classroom training with 16+ hours supervised training.
• One year experience as CNA, hospice aide or home health aide (Hospice preferred).
• Must have a valid driver with insurance.
• Good communication skills in verbal and written forms.

Responsibilities

• Care for census of 5-6 patients.
• Assist with ADLs and personal hygiene, grooming, mouth, skin care and nails.
• Assist with toileting, positioning and transfer activities.
• Assist with ROM and prescribed exercise as instructed by Hospice Nurse.
• Light housekeeping of personal unit/room; change bed linen and doing laundry.
• Feed and assist with meals.
• Report changes in patient condition to Nurse.

We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated part-time, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our growing Hospice Company for ou r Dayton, OH region.

Duties:

The caregiver (CNA/CHHA) will be responsible for:

• Care for census of 5-6 patients
• Provides or assists in ADL activities; personal hygiene, grooming, mouth, skin care and nails.
• Provides assistance in toileting, positioning and transfer activities, frequent turning and positioning of a bed bound resident/patient.
• Assists with the prescribed exercise and ROM activities which the resident/patient and Hospice aide have been taught by the Hospice Nurse.
• Assists with light housekeeping of individual's personal unit or room, including changing of bed linen and patient’s laundry.
• Feeds and assists with meals.
• Reports any changes in resident's/patient's condition to the Nurse

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old.
• Meets training requirements of the State.
• Received a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training with at least 16 hours devoted to supervised practical training and with at least 16 hours of classroom instruction completed.
• Must have one year experience as a CNA, hospice aide or home health aide. (Hospice preferred.)
• Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order and current auto insurance.
• The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
