Overview

Certified Nursing Assistant C.N.A.

We are offering a $6,000 Sign-On Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment). Rates start at $19 per hour.

Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community-based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania. Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services; and private duty.

LIFE is a program serving county residents in Armstrong, Butler, Beaver, and Lawrence Counties. It is an all-inclusive program that helps individuals maintain independence at home and in the community through supportive services, offering person-centered care from medical to social support, with the goal of enabling individuals to remain in their own homes.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant C.N.A., you will perform basic duties to assist participants, supporting their independence and well-being. Responsibilities include helping with mobility exercises, transfers, toileting, incontinence care, feeding, showering, transportation, and socialization. Knowledge of the LIFE program's mission and core values, along with teamwork, are key to success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Current Pennsylvania State Nurse Aide Certification; listed on the state nurse aide registry without allegations
• At least 1 year of experience with the frail or elderly
• Dependable transportation with a valid driver's license
