Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated nursing assistant responsible for providing routine nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures. The role involves working under the supervision of Charge Nurses, RN Supervisors, Directors of Nurses, or Administrators to ensure the highest quality of resident care at all times.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant license
• At least 6 months of experience as a CNA or clinical experience during certification training
• Sincere desire to serve the ill, aged, and infirm
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Tactful communication skills with personnel, residents, families, visitors, and the public
• Ability to work harmoniously with team members
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm
• Good health and emotional stability
• Ability to relate to and work with residents who are ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, or hostile

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in line with facility policies, nursing care procedures, and safety regulations
• Conduct resident rounds at the start of each shift and every two hours thereafter
• Verify resident identity before providing care or serving food
• Report missing ID bands immediately
• Make beds and clean bedside and overbed tables
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled, and within residents' reach
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
