Job summary

United Care ABA is hiring Behavior Technicians (BT) in Queens and other NYC boroughs, offering a clear path from BT to RBT and beyond. We support CNAs transitioning into ABA with hands-on training, supervision, and mentorship.

Full- and part-time roles available with in-home and center-based options. Competitive hourly pay starts at $22–$28, with growth through certification and performance.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for working with children and making a lasting difference.
• Willingness to pursue RBT certification within first months (required).
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in psychology or education a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Dependability, attention to detail, ability to follow clinical guidance.
• Long-term interest in growing within ABA, including RBT/BCBA paths.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children under BCBA supervision to implement ABA therapy.
• Follow treatment plans to improve communication, behavior, and daily living skills.
• Accurately record session data and provide feedback to supervisors.
• Build strong, consistent relationships with clients and families.
• Maintain professionalism and compassion in all interactions.
• Participate in team meetings and complete required training.
