Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and care team.
• Follow care plans, policies, confidentiality requirements, and scope-of-practice rules.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings when requested.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced caregivers and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who bring compassion, professionalism, and strong caregiving skills into the home. This role provides personal care, companionship, and specialized non-medical support for clients with more complex care needs. Exceptional caregiving is about more than completing tasks - it requires understanding the person behind the care plan, protecting dignity, building trust, and helping clients and families feel safe and supported.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other needs within the care plan and scope of training.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement while promoting each client's independence and dignity.
• Provide specialized non-medical care and support for clients with conditions or needs requiring additional experience and skill, as assigned.
• Assist with safe mobility, transfers, positioning, fall-prevention practices, and other approved supportive tasks according to the care plan.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Monitor and promptly report changes in a client's health, behavior, condition, or overall well-being to the appropriate supervisor.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, supervisors, and other members of the care team.
• Follow individualized care plans, company policies, client preferences, confidentiality requirements, and all applicable scope-of-practice requirements.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings when requested and authorized.

Qualifications

• CNA certification and/or demonstrated professional caregiving experience is preferred.
• Specialized certifications and experience may be considered when determining assignments and compensation, as applicable.
• Experience supporting clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, mobility or transfer needs, or other advanced non-medical care needs is strongly preferred.
• Compassionate, empathetic, patient, and respectful approach to client care.
• Excellent communication, observation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and follow individualized care plans and instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and dependable.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, including assisting with mobility and completing light household tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, if required for the assignment.
• Ability to successfully complete all required background checks and drug screening.
• Current TB screening and any other health or credentialing documentation required by applicable law, company policy, or client assignment.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, company privacy policies, and all applicable laws and regulations.
